Personal Information Collection Statement
Purpose of collection
ARCFOX Hong Kong collects personal data submitted through our enquiry and test-drive forms in order to respond to your questions about the T1 and, where requested, to arrange and confirm a test drive booking.
What we collect
Through our forms we collect: name, email address, phone number (optional), model of interest, your message, and, for test-drive bookings, a preferred date.
When you submit a form we also record the date and time, your browser type, and a one-way (hashed) version of your IP address to prevent abuse; the anti-spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) processes your IP address.
Obligatory or voluntary provision of data
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) on our forms are required — without them we cannot respond to your enquiry or arrange your test drive. All other fields are optional.
How we use it
Unless you opt in to marketing (below), we use it only to respond to your enquiry or to arrange your test drive.
Direct marketing
If you tick the optional "send me news and offers" box on the form, we use your name, email address and phone number to send you ARCFOX vehicle news, offers and event invitations by email or phone. We only do this with your consent, given by ticking that box, as required under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance Part VIA. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us (see below), free of charge.
Who we share it with
Your data is shared with ARCFOX Hong Kong's own staff who handle enquiries and test drives, and with the email service provider used to deliver your submission to our team. Our website hosting and content delivery / security providers also process your data as part of running this website, and may store it outside Hong Kong. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.
Your rights
Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to request access to, and correction of, the personal data we hold about you.
